Job summary

Sysco is seeking a dependable team member to assist drivers with unloading products at customer locations according to invoices and company policies. You will help build strong customer relationships through courteous service and accurate route handling.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and reading/writing English ability; occasional CDL training is required. You will work in a physically active environment, following safety methods and delivering reliable, safe service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; able to read and write clearly.
• Commercial drivers must read and speak English sufficiently to interact with the public and complete reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist the driver in unloading products at customer locations per invoices and methods.
• Develop good customer relationships through courteous service and accurate handling of routes.
• Learn route on current bid and assist with route paperwork and driver coordination.
• Follow safety procedures and the company’s Preferred Work Methods; attend CDL School when scheduled.
• Assist with pre-trip checks, backing, and signaling to ensure safe vehicle operation.
