Job summary

G&J Pepsi-Cola Bottlers, Inc. is hiring a Driver Trainee (CDL Required) to serve customers while training across sales positions. You will deliver, stock, rotate, and display products at customer locations, building strong relationships with retailers and Pepsi teams.

Required is a valid Class A CDL and 6–12 months of consumer product sales experience. Schedule is four days per week with 10-hour shifts starting at 5am; benefits and company 401(k) are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 6-12 months of previous sales experience with a consumer product line and customer relations experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivers, stocks, rotates, displays, and maintains products at customer locations according to established standards.
• Builds positive relationships with customers, Territory Account Managers, Territory Delivery Managers, and internal Pepsi teams.
• Invoices customers and collects payment.
• Handles, stocks, and organizes alcoholic products.
• Communicates effectively with retailers, Pepsi management, supervisors, and co-workers.
• Follows company policies, safety requirements, AIB and Pepsi standards, and applicable laws; wears required PPE.
• Maintains customer inventory by delivering appropriate product quantities between scheduled deliveries.
• Completes required paperwork, including DOT logs, and protects confidential pricing, promotion, and customer information.
• Works assigned schedule, maintains regular attendance, works overtime as needed, and performs other duties as assigned.

To serve our customers by being trained to perform the job duties of different positions within the sales team and also to provide coverage for these positions during absences.

Education Level

High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)

Experience

6-12 months of previous sales experience with a consumer product line and customer relations experience.

Certifications & Licenses

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License; employee must be insurable to operate a vehicle, as a condition of initial and continued employment.
