Republic Services in Georgia is offering a Driver Trainee program designed to train you to obtain a commercial driver’s license (CDL) and then transition to a Driver position across residential, commercial, industrial, or roll-off lines of business.
As a trainee you will complete a full CDL training program with on-route experience and safety training before serving customers along assigned routes, and you will be employed for at least 12 months after obtaining your CDL.
A Driver Trainee will be trained by Republic Services to obtain a commercial driver’s license (CDL) to then assume the responsibility of a Driver with our Company. Driver Trainees will complete a comprehensive training program and be given the resources to take the CDL examination. Once the Driver Trainee completes the program and obtains a CDL, the incumbent will be moved into a Driver position in one of the Company’s lines of business, including but not limited to, Residential, Commercial, Industrial or Roll-Off.
No prohibitions to acquiring a commercial drivers’ license.
