Job summary

White Cap is hiring immediately for a CDL A Driver to coordinate and deliver products to customer jobsites with a GVW over 26,000 pounds. You may use a truck-mounted forklift to unload shipments and must follow DOT regulations with a strong emphasis on safety.

Responsibilities include ensuring manifests are accurate, assisting with loading/unloading, and maintaining professional service at jobsites. A Class A CDL with one year of experience is required; Hazmat is preferred where applicable.

Qualifications

• Has a Class A CDL with at least 1 year of driving experience.
• Hazmat endorsement is preferred when applicable.
• Strong commitment to safety and DOT compliance.
• Experience delivering construction or heavy materials to job sites is a plus.
• Ability to read manifests and complete paperwork accurately.
• Willingness to assist with loading/unloading and warehouse duties as needed.

A CDL A Driver at White Cap…

• Coordinates and delivers products to customer jobsites using a tractor-trailer or straight truck with a GVW over 26,000 pounds.

• May use a truck-mounted forklift (Moffett or Piggyback) to unload shipments at customer jobsites.

• Follows DOT regulations in accordance with vehicle maintenance and operates with a strong emphasis on safety.

• Ensures that manifests and all paperwork are accurate.

• May assist warehouse staff with pulling and preparing orders for shipment.

• Has a Class A CDL license with a minimum of one year of experience.

• Performs other duties as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with applicable endorsements and a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)

• Commercial driving experience in compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and DOT requirements, with two or more years preferred

• Experience delivering construction, industrial, building materials, or other heavy products to customer locations

• Hazmat endorsement/certification preferred when applicable to materials transported

• Experience operating truck-mounted forklifts (Moffett/Piggyback), forklifts, or other material handling equipment; forklift certification preferred

• Strong commitment to safety, including knowledge of DOT regulations, vehicle inspections, cargo securement, and safe driving practices

• Customer-focused approach with experience maintaining accurate manifests, bills of lading, and other delivery documentation while providing professional service at jobsites

• Ability to support loading, unloading, order preparation, and other warehouse activities as needed; bilingual (Spanish/English) proficiency is a plus
