Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies is hiring a full-time Warehouse / Shipping Associate in Commerce, CA. This on-site role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm, with opportunities for bonus and advancement within a Fortune 1000 company.

You will handle shipping/receiving, inventory, and customer-facing tasks using forklifts and standard warehouse tools, contributing to a high-performing team in a friendly culture.

Qualifications

• 6+ months warehouse or customer service experience.
• Written and verbal communication skills, including English grammar.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR).

Responsibilities

• Ship and/or receive materials, maintain stock areas and inventory.
• Use forklift, simple hand and power tools, weighing scales, postage meters.
• Operate company vehicle to pick up and deliver orders and equipment.
• Assist in data entry, counter and telephone sales/service, order pulling, and customer calls as needed.
• Maintain clean driving record.
• Hours are Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

In accordance with applicable wage transparency law requirements, the typical estimated hourly rate range for this position and location is $17.00 - 20.00/hr depending on experience. Potential bonus opportunity is tied to location and individual performance and has averaged $250 - 500 per month. No specific amount is guaranteed.
