Job summary

Echo Electric, a brand owned by Sonepar, is seeking a part-time Driver in Sioux Center, IA to ensure the safe, efficient delivery of electrical supplies and to assist with warehouse duties when not driving. The role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm.

Candidates must be at least 21, meet DOT pre-employment physical requirements, and have a clean driving record. You will load/unload using proper equipment including forklifts; benefits include PTO, safety shoe reimbursement, employee discounts,

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical supplies safely and on time to customers.
• Assist with general warehouse duties when not driving.
• Load and unload materials from truck using proper equipment (e.g., forklift).
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks as needed.

We have a great opportunity for a customer-oriented Driver to join our team! As a Driver, you will ensure the safe, efficient, and courteous delivery of electrical supplies, materials, and parts. You will also assist with general warehouse duties when not driving.

Shift: Part time - back up to current drivers

Monday - Friday 8:00 am-5:00pm

We are looking for associates who:

• Must be 21 years of age or older


• Successful completion of all driver qualifications as specified in the Department of Transportation regulations, including pre-employment physical examination, regularly scheduled follow-up physical examinations, and proof of a safe driving record.


• Drive company truck(s) with great care, assuring compliance with all prevailing traffic laws and legal speed limits, and safety protocol.


• Loads and unloads materials from truck in an accurate, efficient, and safe manner, utilizing proper body mechanics and proper equipment (e.g., forklift).

What you bring:

• Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles.


• Ability to unload material at customer site, including heavy and bulky items.


• Willingness to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jack, and power tools. You will also use push carts and rolling ladders.


• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation.


• Ability to be on your stand for extended periods and traverse the warehouse with or without accommodation.


• Basic problem-solving skills.
