Ben E. Keith is hiring for a Shuttle Driver at our Victoria, TX facility. The role involves delivering loaded trailers to the shuttle depot and returning empty trailers, maintaining schedules, and communicating issues to supervision.

Applicants must have a valid Class A CDL with Double/Triple Trailer endorsements, a DOT driving history, pass drug and physical screenings, and a high school diploma or GED. Safety and professionalism are essential, including adherence to dress and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must have a good driving record with no more than 1 moving violation in the past three years.
• Applicant must pass required Drug and Physical Screening.
• At least 1 year of DOT driving experience required.
• Must have a valid state issued Class A CDL with Double/Triple Trailer endorsements.
• Ability to operate 28 ft., 36 ft., and 48 ft. trailers with tandem axle tractors.
• Must have High School Diploma or GED; work experience may substitute for education.
• Drivers are monitored by dash cameras and sign a consent form at hire.

Responsibilities

The Shuttle Driver will deliver loaded trailers to the shuttle depot and return the empty trailers back to the branch. Deliver loaded trailers to shuttle depot and pick up empty trailers to return Maintain delivery time windows Immediately communicate problems with supervisor Perform duties by following the company’s safety standards Represent Ben E. Keith with professionalism, maintaining a positive attitude, following dress code and cleanliness standards.

This position is for our Victoria, TX shuttle site.

Job Qualifications:

• Driver safety is important to Ben E. Keith. We use dash cameras which leverage artificial intelligence to recognize safe driving, capture safety events and improve driver safety performance. The videos are also used to exonerate drivers in accidents. All drivers sign a driver consent form upon hire to confirm their understanding.
