We seek a dependable Driver for full-time transportation of patients within a therapeutic, supportive setting. The role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and 2+ years’ experience with patients or related populations.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license with fewer than 2 points.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two or more years of experience working with children with disabilities, substance use patients, or mental health patients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain professionalism and patience when working with patients.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a treatment team.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients to various appointments as dictated by the program schedule or individual patient needs.
• Maintain positive interactions with patients while monitoring and appropriately directing patient behavior.
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment during transportation.
• Communicate any pertinent patient information to admissions team/counselors.

We are a thriving center for treatment of addictions and co-occurring disorders. We offer a full continuum of care, including inpatient, residential, intensive outpatient, and outpatient services.

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Driver to join our team at our Rockville, Maryland location. This is a full-time position providing transportation for patients while maintaining a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment. The ideal candidate will be professional, patient, and comfortable working with individuals receiving behavioral health and substance use treatment.

Schedule & Availability

• Full-time Monday - Friday

What You’ll Do

• Transport patients to various appointments as dictated by the program schedule or individual patient needs
• Maintain positive interactions with patients while monitoring and appropriately directing patient behavior
• Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment during transportation
• Communicate any pertinent patient information to admissions team/counselors
