Department:Driver Recruiting GroupJob Description:JOB SUMMARY: The CDL Driver Recruiting Support Specialist will serve as the first point of contact for potential CDL driver candidates, taking and making calls to warm leads, qualification screening, providing essential information about our company, its opportunities, and the positions available.As a Driver Recruiting Support Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in creating a positive first impression, ensuring potential candidates are well-informed, qualified, and ultimately contributing to the growth of our company’s driving force.*Hourly pay + Bonus structure*JOB DESCRIPTION:Key ResponsibilitiesLead Generation:Utilize Tenstreet ATS online database, and referrals, to review sourced potential CDL driversInitiate contact with candidates through phone calls, emails, and other communication methods to assess their interest and qualificationsProvide information, build rapport and influence potential drivers to drive for Stevens Transport IncIdentify potential CDL drivers through various channels, including online job boards, social media, and referrals.Actively engage with potential candidates to generate interest in our company and job openings.Application Processing:Review DOT, State, Local and Company requirements to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and compliance with CDL requirements.Collect and review CDL driver applications to ensure they are complete and meet our minimum qualifications.Verify the accuracy of information provided in applications, including driving records and employment history.Communicate with applicants to request additional information or clarification when necessary.
