Job summary

PAM Transport in Tontitown, Arkansas is seeking a driven recruiter to attract top driver talent for our fleet and on-campus CDL-A program. You will engage with prospective drivers and students, guiding them through the recruitment and onboarding process.

This role runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with a pay range of $40,000 to $100,000 plus incentives, and full benefits including medical, 401K, and PTO.

Qualifications

• Self-motivated with knowledge of motor carrier transportation industry.
• Knowledge of recruiting and marketing as applied to driver recruitment.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to effectively work with others.
• Drive and passion for helping others.

Responsibilities

• Recruit top driver talent for the fleet and on-campus CDL-A program.
• Conduct daily recruiting activities to source new driver and student candidates.
• Achieve weekly hiring goals of 2+ drivers and 2–3 students per quarter.
• Field inbound inquiries from prospective recruits via various media sources.
• Enter recruitment activity into the database.
• Phone screen candidates after employment applications are completed.
• Guide candidates through the onboarding process from application to hire.
• Schedule applicants for pre-employment drug screens and physicals.
• Coordinate onboarding and school arrival processes with approved candidates.
• Partner with internal departments to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
• Follow safety documentation to ensure DOT compliance.
• Assist with recruitment-related special projects as assigned by leadership.

About this opportunity

We are seeking a highly driven and self-motivated individual to join our team and help attract top talent to our fleet and on-campus CDL-A program. In this role, you will engage with prospective drivers and/or students, providing valuable information about opportunities at PAM Transport and guiding candidates through the recruitment and onboarding process. Your efforts will play a key role in building a strong and successful driver workforce.

Pay and Schedule

This position is Monday - Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM. The pay range is $40,000 - $100,000 including a base salary dependent on experience plus a competitive incentive program.

How will you contribute to the success of the team?

• Recruit top driver talent for the fleet and/or students for the on-campus CDL-A program

• Conduct daily recruiting activities to source new driver and/or student candidates

• Achieve weekly hiring goals of 2+ drivers and/or 2–3 students on average per quarter

• Field inbound phone inquiries from prospective recruits generated through various media sources

• Enter accurate and timely recruitment activity into the 10st database

• Phone screen candidates after employment applications are completed

• Guide candidates through the onboarding process from application to hire

• Schedule applicants for pre-employment drug screens and physicals

• Coordinate onboarding and/or school arrival processes with approved candidates

• Partner with internal departments (including Student and Safety) to ensure a smooth onboarding experience

• Follow all safety department documentation processes and procedures to ensure DOT compliance

• Assist with recruitment-related special projects as assigned by leadership
