Job summary

SDS RX, DHL Healthcare Logistics is recruiting a Driver Recruiter to source, attract, and onboard high-quality independent contractor drivers across multiple markets. You’ll be an essential part of our daily operation, delivering a best-in-class recruiting experience for our contractor network.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recruiting experience, preferably in logistics/transportation.
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Proficiency with recruitment tools, databases, and ATS.
• Strong problem-solving to address candidate concerns and challenges.

Responsibilities

• Source candidates via job boards, social media, industry forums, and local events.
• Screen and interview applicants for qualifications, driving experience, and IC fit.
• Guide onboarding including background checks, driving records, and compliance with standards.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with drivers and act as contact during recruitment.
• Promote company culture and benefits to independent contractors.
• Track recruitment metrics and report progress to management.
• Ensure drivers meet legal and company driving requirements.

We’re looking for a top-tier Driver Recruiter to deliver exceptional service to our operations by sourcing, attracting, and onboarding high-quality independent contractor drivers across multiple markets. Responsibilities

• Sourcing Candidates: Utilize various recruitment channels such as job boards, social media, industry forums, and local networking events to attract potential driver candidates.
• Screening and Interviewing: Conduct thorough interviews with applicants to assess qualifications, driving experience, and compatibility with the independent contractor model.
• Onboarding: Guide candidates through the onboarding process, ensuring all required documentation is completed, including background checks, driving records, and compliance with company standards.
• Building Relationships: Establish and maintain positive relationships with drivers to foster trust and loyalty, acting as a point of contact during the recruitment process.
• Promoting Company Culture: Effectively communicate the values, mission, and benefits of working with the logistics company as an independent contractor.
• Reporting: Track recruitment metrics and provide regular updates to the management team regarding hiring progress, challenges, and achievements.
• Compliance: Ensure all drivers meet legal and company-specific driving requirements, including certifications, insurance, and vehicle condition standards.

Required Education And Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent, required.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in recruiting, preferably in logistics, transportation, or a similar industry, preferred.
• Proficiency in using recruitment tools, databases, and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to address candidate concerns and challenges.
