Bowery Residents' Committee, Inc. (BRC) is seeking an entry-level transportation/receiving aide in New York. Responsibilities include transporting clients to appointments, housing placements, detox, and related placements, as well as delivering supplies and maintaining facility cleanliness.

The role requires a valid NY driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, basic English proficiency, and good interpersonal skills. Vaccination is preferred but not required. 37.5 hours per week, day schedule.

Qualificações

• Valid NY state driver's license required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Must be able to lift and carry a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Be a member of Fire Safety Team.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with transportation of clients to and from appointments, housing placements, detox, and other placement points.
• Delivery and pick up of supplies and program documents to and from various BRC programs and DHS facilities.
• Report accidents, tickets, and maintenance needs to immediate supervisor.
• Assist with maintaining cleanliness of both the interior and exterior of the facility.
• Receive and store all deliveries.
• Related duties as assigned.
