Job summary

Diesel Direct Inc. is seeking a CDL Class B Driver to safely deliver fuel to customers in the Tampa area. You will operate a diesel truck, comply with regulations, and work a Tue–Sat 4:00 PM–12:00 AM shift; storms may affect hours.

Essential duties include safe deliveries, pre/post-trip inspections, detailed records, and strong customer service. Qualifications include Tanker and Hazmat endorsements, TWIC, and a clean driving record; benefits include medical/dental, 401k, life insurance, paid

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class B is required.
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsements are REQUIRED.
• TWIC is REQUIRED.
• Excellent driving record with no major violations.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
• Ability to work independently.
• Tank Truck Experience with Petroleum is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fuel to customers safely and accurately.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain detailed delivery documentation and signatures.
• Adhere to hours of service, safety standards and vehicle maintenance rules.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve inquiries promptly.

Salary Range: $26.00 To $27.00 Hourly

CDL Driver:

Diesel Direct is seeking a CDL Class B Driver that is responsible for safely and efficiently delivering fuel to various customers. You will operate a commercial diesel truck, tractor trailer, ensuring compliance with all regulations and company policies. Shift: Tuesday- Saturday 4:00PM- 12:AM. Storm season may affect hours.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

To perform this role successfully, and individual must be able to perform the essential duties satisfactorily, other duties may be assigned:

• Delivery: Safely deliver to customers, ensuring accurate quantities and timely service.
• Inspection: Conduct pre-trip and post trip inspections on the truck to identify and address any mechanical issues.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed delivery records, including signatures and fuel quantities.
• Compliance: Adhere to all regulations, including hours of service, safety standards, and vehicle maintenance requirements.
• Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
• Safety: Prioritize safety in all aspects of your work, following company safety procedures and regulations.

Qualifications:
