Job summary

Schneider is seeking a Driver Manager in Urbandale, IA to ensure successful execution of customer freight delivery through effective driver management. The Driver Manager will act as a link between the business, our drivers and customers.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or 2 years of equivalent experience, strong communication, and problem-solving skills. On-site position with first shift, 7 a.m.–4 p.m., Monday–Friday, in Urbandale, IA.

Responsibilities

• Make safety-conscious decisions that ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.

• Provide continuous, structured and proactive performance management and coaching to drivers.
• Manage driver payroll and home time.
• Collaborate with various teams to identify and implement creative solutions to improve retention and drive business.
