Waypoint Recovery Center in Cameron, SC seeks a part-time Driver to safely transport clients to and from programming, appointments, and events, with a Monday and Thursday 9 am–5 pm schedule. The role emphasizes punctual transport, safety, and clear documentation.
The driver will monitor client safety during travel, provide reports, and support on-call needs while maintaining vehicle readiness and compliance with facility policies.

The Driver is responsible for coordinating and safely transporting clients to and from facility programming including appointments, activity trips, airport shuttle service and other special events in a punctual and timely manner. Also provides monitoring and reporting of client behaviors, crisis situations, and medical emergencies as needed as an integral part of the multidisciplinary team. Transports visitors or staff as needed.
High School Diploma or GED required, OR equivalent combination of education, training and experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
One or more years’ relevant work experience in behavioral facility preferred.
Valid and in good standing state driver’s license required.
CPR and de-escalation certification may be required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.
This position is onsite at the facility and is not a remote position.
