Grand Villa of Englewood is seeking a compassionate Part-Time Driver to transport senior residents to appointments and local activities in southwest Florida. You will assist residents with boarding, ensure safety, and maintain vehicle readiness while providing friendly service and companionship.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate community vehicles to transport residents to medical appointments, grocery stores, entertainment venues, and other local destinations
• Assist residents with boarding and disembarking from vehicles, ensuring their safety and comfort
• Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of the vehicle, reporting any issues promptly
• Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols during transportation
• Provide friendly, respectful, and attentive service to residents, fostering a positive experience
• Support community activities and events as needed, contributing to a lively and engaging environment

Skills and Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Proven experience in driving, preferably with a focus on passenger transportation
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to assist seniors with mobility and provide compassionate service
• Dependable, punctual, and able to work some weekends
• Knowledge of southwest Florida’s local destinations is a plus
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to safety standards
