The Branch Driver is responsible for delivering all material while providing courteous, efficient, and professional delivery service in a safe and timely manner. These responsibilities will support the development and accomplishment of Packer’s Strategy and Vision while promoting our company Swagger.Primary DutiesMaintains a driving record in good standing and is courteous to others on the roadLoad/Unload all material with or without moving equipment in a safe manner accordance with company policyVerify accuracy of materials delivered to customerOperates company owned and leased vehicles safely in delivering materials to customers and other branchesMakes deliveries on time as scheduledMaintains vehicle in neat and clean condition; observes traffic lawsMaintains neat appearance; always remains courteous and serviced-minded in dealing with customersPractices good housekeeping and health & safety standards within department; abides by OSHA regulationsCompletes daily maintenance inspectionReports operating problems or maintenance needs to Fleet Manager or Branch ManagerFollows proper procedures in reporting accidentsMaintains a safe work environment for all employeesAssumes other employee responsibilities when required; may perform other duties as assignedJob SpecificationsMust have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
