Job summary

Applus IDIADA is seeking a Driver Operator to join our team in North America. The role involves gathering data to customer specifications and documenting observations through our Data Acquisition system.

The ideal candidate has strong technical aptitude, understands automotive products, and can operate vehicles on predefined routes across various terrains and weather conditions. The project is initially 6 months, with potential for ongoing work.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• 5 years of licensed driving experience.
• Must have current Driver's License and a clean driving record for at least 3 years.
• Experience with ADAS features is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Carry out driving services on vehicles per customer specifications.
• Drive vehicles across predefined routes through various terrain and weather conditions.
• Perform pre- and post-shift vehicle inspections.
• Manage data acquisition systems to ensure accurate data retrieval.
• Drive safely following traffic regulations and project manager instructions.
• Complete daily reports and required program documentation.
• Maintain all documentation with confidentiality.
• Support data acquisition and document objects, obstacles, and anomalies.
