Job summary

SkyHop Global LLC is seeking a Leader on Duty in Tampa to guide our driver team and optimize daily operations. You will balance field time (25–50%) with on-site leadership, focusing on process improvements, staffing, and safety.

Qualifications

Must be at least 21 years old and pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.
Clean driving record and valid driver’s license; ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
Non-CDL DOT Medical Card required.

Responsibilities

Direct and inspire your team of drivers with leadership that focuses on process improvement, team-building, coaching, and feedback.
Keep overtime to a minimum, except for those rare emergency situations.
Assist the Station Manager by being a recruitment wizard - interviewing, selecting, training, motivating, coaching, and mentoring transport drivers to be the best in the business.
Oversee the daily maintenance review of our fleet, ensuring everything runs like a well-oiled machine and reporting concerns promptly.
Be the safety superhero, conducting regular safety audits, leading station safety meetings, and meeting with individual staff members to ensure a secure and thriving work environment.
