Job summary

Dairy-Farmers-of-America,-Inc. seeks a supervisor to oversee drivers and related activities at the terminal and/or distribution center.

You will create driver schedules, optimize routing, and implement solutions for transportation and distribution challenges while promoting safety, customer service, and operational excellence. The role requires monitoring daily activity, coordinating with multiple teams, and ensuring adherence to regulatory and company standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2–5 years of distribution, logistics, and/or transportation experience with leadership attributes.
• Class A CDL and required endorsements/licenses as applicable.
• Medical card and other certifications as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily work direction to professional drivers for safe, efficient operations and to meet customer requirements.
• Monitor daily activity and adjust load assignments; communicate with relevant teams.
• Maintain routes and use routing software to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
• Create and manage driver schedules; approve time and monitor overtime.
• Ensure daily paperwork is completed (logs, mileage, reports, etc.).
• Prepare and distribute operational KPI reports.
