Job summary

Famous Supply is seeking a delivery driver to join our team. The role involves loading the truck, navigating routes with a smartphone, delivering materials to customer sites, and verifying orders for accuracy. You will assist with warehouse tasks as needed and perform pre- and post-trip inspections.

Starting wage is $21.00/hour with compensation negotiable based on experience. CDL is not required, and the position offers opportunities to grow into CDL roles with training and mentorship.

Qualifications

Job description

Starting wage is $21.00/hour! Wages negotiable based on experience.

Non-CDL Drivers at Famous Supply make deliveries to customer shops and/or job sites using a 26-foot box truck with a lift gate. Each morning, the driver’s route for the day is uploaded onto a company-provided Smartphone that navigates the driver to each stop. Drivers are responsible for assisting with the loading of their truck and reviewing orders prior to delivery to ensure accuracy. Driver associates assist in the warehouse when needed.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Help load truck
• Use Smartphone to navigate to stops on-time
• Unload materials for customer
• Verify delivery for accuracy
• Provide friendly and helpful customer service
• Pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections

Note: Famous Supply Drivers will handle large products such as water heaters, furnaces, and showers.

Required Experience and Skills

• Ability to drive large vehicles
