Imperial Brady is seeking a reliable Driver - Non CDL in Jacksonville, FL to ensure accurate, timely deliveries while upholding safety and customer service standards.

You will transport products to customers, support warehouse functions, prepare orders, load/unload trucks, and help manage inventory. The role requires 1+ year route driving, a high school diploma, and the ability to obtain DOT medical certification.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year of route driving experience with straight truck or box truck.

• Forklift certification preferred, or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer skills for transportation systems and data entry.
• Basic math skills to verify orders and delivery documents.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and work overtime as needed.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull 100 lbs; sit, walk, climb and balance as required.

Responsabilidades

• Operate a straight truck or box truck to deliver products to customer locations.
• Learn and optimize routes and maintain documentation (BOLs, packing slips, etc).
• Perform DVIRs and report vehicle issues; keep vehicle clean.
• Comply with OSHA, DOT and company policies; complete safety training and handle HazMat materials.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and management.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer needs with urgency.
• Assist with order preparation, loading/unloading, stocking inventory and warehouse tasks.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Description & Requirements

The Driver - Non CDL is responsible for accurate and timely deliveries while maintaining the highest of standards for safety and customer service. This position will transport products to customers and support with warehouse functions, to include preparing orders to be delivered, loading and unloading trucks, and managing inventory.

• Operate a straight truck or box truck to transport products to customer locations on assigned delivery route.
• Learn and optimize routes, ensure correct order fulfillment, and maintain proper documentation (BOLs, manifests, packing slips, HazMat summaries).
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections (DVIR), report issues immediately, and maintain cleanliness inside and out of assigned vehicle.
• Follow all OSHA, DOT and company policies, complete required safety training and properly handle HazMat materials.
• Wear company apparel as required, maintain a neat appearance and effectively communicate with dispatch, customers, and management.
• Take personal ownership of all customer needs with speed and urgency. Maintain the highest level of customer service.
• Assist with preparing orders, loading/unloading, stocking inventory, and general warehouse tasks as needed.
• Additional duties as assigned.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Age 21 or older
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical certification and pass a road test
• Prior forklift certification preferred, or ability to obtain upon hire
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Basic computer skills to operate transportation systems, dispatch applications or perform data entry tasks
• Basic math skills to verify orders or reconcile delivery documents
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet deadlines and work overtime as needed
• Physical Requirements : While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required lift up to 50lbs and push/pull 100lbs. Regularly sit in a truck and drive a company vehicle. Ability to walk, climb, kneel, stoop and balance frequently.
