Job description

OVERVIEW

Drive your future forward with Bell Cabinetry and CR. We’re looking for a dependable, safety-focused Delivery Truck Driver to join our team and play a key role in delivering high-quality materials to our customers. In this position, you’ll operate a 26‑foot straight box truck, ensuring products are loaded securely, transported safely, and placed accurately at customer sites. You’ll conduct pre‑trip inspections, manage delivery documentation, and maintain a professional presence throughout each delivery. Physical strength is required for heavy lifting and placement of materials.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Safely operate a 26′ straight box truck.
  • Comply with all DOT driving regulations.
  • Physically load products into the delivery truck.
  • Secure all material at the start of each shift and continuously monitor it after every delivery.
  • Complete and return all customer supporting paperwork at the end of each shift.
  • Report any incidents or material damage to the Logistics Manager.
  • Perform daily truck inspections, including pre‑ and post‑trip DVIR checks.
  • Seek guidance on non‑routine or problem areas from a supervisor.
  • Document inspections to maintain truck and equipment condition.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of truck‑driving experience with a proven safe‑driving record.
  • Possession of a valid Driver License (type C). CDL license is not required.
  • Proficiency in driving automatic‑transmission trucks.
  • Capability to operate a lift gate.
  • Experience in commercial and residential deliveries.
  • Ability to serve all regional distribution centers.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • 20% travel required.
  • Successful completion of a mandatory background check.
  • 3 points or fewer on the Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
  • Minimum of 2 years of forklift experience.
  • Additional experience in truck driving with a proven safe‑driving record.

Entry‑level pay rate: $21.00 per hour.
