Merakey is seeking a Hospital Tripper/Driver for our program in Coraopolis, PA. This non-professional position involves operating the facility’s motor vehicles to transport SFR individuals to and from medical appointments and program centers. Paid training is provided. Earn $18/hr with Enhanced Pay Option. Escorts residents to doctors’ offices and ensures safe transportation; expected to maintain professional rapport with medical staff.

No prior experience required; training is paid.

This is a non-professional position entailing the operation of the facility’s motor vehicles while transporting SFR individuals to and from medical appointments/trips, transportation to and from SFRs or Program Centers as designated. The MVO/PA/HT SFR is also involved with providing direct care to individuals with Intellectual Developmental disabilities. Staff also provide assistance with transfers/lifts as well as hygiene while on medical appointments Direct supervision is provided by the Health Services Supervisor/Nursing Department.

Hospital Tripper/Driver

We are seeking a Hospital Tripper/Driver to join our team at our program in Coraopolis, PA.

No Experience Required - We Provide PAID Training.

Earn $18/hr. with the selection of the Enhanced Pay Option.

Staff will be required to follow a designated routine and assignments as outlined by the HSS/AHSS. Escorts residents via Merakey/Allegheny Valley School vehicles or emergency vehicles to doctors' offices, health centers or emergency rooms. Ensures safe transportation, i.e., secures wheelchairs and individuals in vehicles and supervises during transport. Develops and maintains professional rapport with personnel of doctors' offices, clinics and hospitals. This is a non-professional position entailing the operation of the facilities motor vehicles while transporting individuals to and from medical appointments, trips, and to and from their residence to the program centers as designated.
