Job summary

Coke Florida is hiring a Driver Merchandiser for the Big Pine Key location. The role involves delivering and unloading beverages to customer sites on established routes, stocking shelves, and ensuring proper rotation of products.

This is a fast-paced, physical role requiring a valid CDL A, clean driving record, and ability to pass a DOT physical. Role includes working 5:00am start, Monday to Friday, with benefits under Coke Florida Total Rewards.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Commercial Class A driver's license.
• Must be able to pass a DOT physical and maintain a DOT Medical Card.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and unload products to customer locations on designated routes.
• Stock and rotate products on shelves, displays and coolers per company standards.
• Verify load accuracy and stability.
• Invoice and collect monies due; manage company property.
• Maintain regulatory compliance and safety policies.

Coke Florida is looking for a Driver Merchandiser based out of our Big Pine Key location. We’re currently looking for 5:00am until Finish, working Monday - Friday.

What You Will Do:

As a Coke Florida D river Merchandiser, you will be responsible for delivering and/or unloading our products to customer locations on designated routes. This is a fast-paced position that stocks the greatest beverage brands on shelves, displays and in coolers.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Responsible for driving and delivery of pre-ordered product to assigned accounts and for rotating and stocking product .
• Check accuracy and stability of the load.
• Deliver products to customers.
• Merchandise, display and rotate products according to company standards.
• Invoice and collect monies due.
• Pick up company property.
• Secure company assets.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.
• Settle all accounts daily.
• Utilize smartphone technology in handling customer orders/invoicing
• Utilize technology for Electronic Logging Systems and fleet management.
• Comply with routing software guidance.

For this role, you will need:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States
• Must have a valid Commercial Class A driver's license.
• Must have a driving record with no major* moving violations in the last three (3) years.
• At least 1 year of general work experience required.
• Ability to operate a hand-truck and powered industrial equipment.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a powered industrial truck certification
• Familiarity with DOT regulations.
• Must be able to pass a Department of Transportation physical and/or have a valid DOT Medical Card.
• Operate manual transmission

*Major moving violations include, but are not limited to, leaving the scene of an accident, driving under the influence, a n d reckless driving. Minor moving violations include, but are not limited to, speeding, driving too close, failure to stop, and improper lane changes. Driving records, including minor moving violations, will be evaluated according to Coca-Cola Beverages' guidelines to determine eligibility for this position.

Additional qualifications that will make you successful in the role:

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of commercial driving experience preferred.
• Local delivery experience preferred.
• Customer service and cash handling experience preferred
• HazMat endorsement may be required.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

This role is highly physical, which will require:

• Ability to repetitively lift, carry and position objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance
• Ability to repetitively push and pull objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance while kneeling, squatting, reaching about the head, reaching at the waist, reaching below the knees and bending at the knees
• Ability to repetitively push and pull manual transport equipment (for example, pallet jack or hand truck) containing product loads up to a minimum of 100 yards without assistance
• Ability to repetitively grasp and manipulate objects of varying size and weight requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
• Ability to exert oneself physically over sustained periods of time to complete job activities
• Ability to read information in small, medium and large print
• Ability to stand a minimum of 8 hours during the workday up to 10 hours
• Ability to walk a minimum of 4 hours during the workday
• Frequently work in a hot/humid indoor environment
• Ability to use an audio headset to listen to directions in English
