Job summary

JRT Mechanical Inc. in Pasco, WA is seeking a delivery driver to transport materials and pre-fab to job sites and back, logging miles and receipts. You will operate a Peterbilt with a manual transmission, plan efficient routes, and meet delivery schedules while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Ability to safely operate a manual transmission Class A truck.
• Proven work experience as a truck driver with clean driving record.
• Knowledge of truck driving rules and regulations.
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly.

Responsibilities

• Transport material and pre-fab to and from the shop and projects.
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and safety, perform preventative maintenance.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
• Document and log work/rest periods and miles, retain receipts.
• Collect and verify delivery instructions.
• Assist with shop duties when deliveries are not needed.
• Operate primary vehicle: Peterbilt 10-speed manual, 48-foot trailer.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Class A CDL
• Must be ableto safely operate a manual transmission Class A commercial truck (no automatic transmission restriction)
• Proven work experience as a truck driver
• Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulation
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
