Job summary

PSS Cross Country Infrastructure Solutions is seeking a reliable Driver/Material Handler to support local branch operations—picking up and delivering products, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, and handling receiving, packing, and shipping.

This role requires a valid driver’s license, be able to lift up to 70 lbs, and work safely in a warehouse. CDL and forklift experience are preferred. Comprehensive benefits and training opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong math and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow procedures.
• Physically able to lift 50lbs regularly and up to 70lbs occasionally.
• Familiar with standard warehouse practices.
• CDL and forklift experience or ability to obtain certification.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and reliable.
• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Comfortable standing for extended periods.
• Basic computer skills for shipping and receiving.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record and 3+ years of driving experience (if driving duties are required).

Responsibilities

• Deliveries & Driving: Safely pick up and deliver products within the local branch area using company vehicles.
• Drive company trucks to and from customers or vendors, completing deliveries on time.
• Transport products to local customers using company trucks and trailers (if applicable).
• Maintain company vehicles by keeping them clean and ensuring preventive maintenance checks are completed; report issues.
• Warehouse Operations: Pull, stage, and prepare products from designated inventory locations with accuracy.
• Package and secure outbound shipments, ensuring products are damage-free.
• Unload incoming trucks, verify materials against delivery tickets, and resolve discrepancies.
• Check vendor packing lists, update PO Stock Tickets, and record inventory movements.
• Stock and organize products in assigned locations while keeping inventory records current.
• Conduct inventory control audits to maintain stock accuracy.
• Equipment & Safety: Operate forklift, pallet jacks, and ladders safely.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
• Follow company safety protocols and procedures.

The Driver/Material Handler is responsible forpicking up and delivering products using company vehicles while also performing a variety of warehouse duties including receiving, storage, packaging, shipping, and distribution.This position requires safe operation of warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
