Maersk is seeking a Driver Manager in Greer, SC to lead onboarding and certification for delivery associates. You will oversee safety, training on appliance delivery, and hands-on coaching to ensure compliant, capable teams at the site.

The role emphasizes DOT regulations, hours of service, and ensuring readiness of all equipment and records while partnering with site leadership for talent evaluation and retention.

Qualifications

• Has done the job; time on a delivery truck in heavy-bulky or appliance delivery is essential.
• Experience onboarding, certifying or training commercial drivers.
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations and hours of service.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle record; able to operate a box truck.

Responsabilités

• Own onboarding of every new delivery associate from first day to solo route.
• Deliver behind-the-wheel certification on box trucks and verify readiness.
• Train associates in appliance/heavy-bulky delivery, in-home handling, assembly and care.
• Train on handheld and delivery application with emphasis on competency.
• Inforce DOT rules, hours of service and pre/post-trip inspections.
• Own safety, damage and claims prevention for driver teams on site.
• Coach day-to-day performance, conduct ride-alongs, and manage retention.
• Maintain training and certification records for all associates.
• Ensure tools, uniforms, handhelds and equipment are ready for teams.
• Collaborate with site leadership and recruiting on candidate evaluation and pipeline.
