Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a delivery driver for Pharmacy Services & Delivery in Indiana. You will prepare doses for shipment, load and unload, and deliver to medical care providers on an assigned route using a company vehicle.

The role requires flexibility for on-call and holiday rotations and the ability to handle radiopharmaceuticals with safety standards. Responsibilities include using a handheld tablet to scan orders, maintaining vehicle readiness, and providing excellent customer service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Prior delivery driving experience is a plus.
• Minimum of 18 years old due to driving requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate a vehicle in all weather.
• Ability to sit, stand, and be mobile for extended periods.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• On-call/holiday work rotation may be required.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts and overtime as needed.
• Ability to use computers and tablets.

Responsibilities

• Processes packages returned from customer locations.
• Maintains vehicles in proper working condition and may perform minor roadside repairs.
• Performs general facility cleaning and other duties as required.

Pay rate: $21.30 per hour Bonus eligible: No

Shift: 40 hours per week Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday 4:00am-12:30pm (Off on Thursdays and Fridays) Must be willing to work on call rotations and holiday rotations. Candidate must be flexible to work different days, schedules, hours, come in early, stay late, or work overtime based on business needs.

What Pharmacy Services & Delivery contributes to Cardinal Health Pharmacy Services & Delivery is responsible for the prompt and accurate delivery and distribution of radiopharmaceuticals or oncology pharmaceuticals to medical care providers in accordance with customer demand and requirements of the assigned route.

Prepares doses for shipment, prepares cases, wipes doses, and loads and unloads containers in keeping with the prescribed safety standards and Department of Transportation (DOT).

• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions during day or night hours
• Ability to sit, stand, be mobile and operate a vehicle for extended periods of time

• Flexibility to work various shifts or overtime as needed
