Job summary

Pacific Coast Post-Acute is seeking a Full-Time Driver in Salinas, CA. The role focuses on safe transportation of residents to medical appointments and activities, while maintaining comfortable vehicle conditions and a positive community image.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents safely to medical appointments and activities.
• Maintain cleanliness of facility vehicles to promote safety and a positive image.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance logs and coordinate routine maintenance (oil changes, tire rotations, inspections).
• Assist residents with boarding and exiting vehicles as needed.
• Follow safety regulations and transportation procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Full-Time Driver

Pacific Coast Post-Acute | Salinas, CA

Pay Range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safe transportation of residents to scheduled medical appointments, approved activities, and community outings.
• Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of facility vehicles to promote a safe and comfortable experience for residents and a positive image within the community.
• Monitor vehicle maintenance logs and coordinate routine vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and inspections.
• Assist residents with boarding and exiting the vehicle as needed.
• Follow all safety regulations and transportation procedures.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to safely lift, transfer, and mobilize residents weighing up to 70 pounds in confined areas within a transport van.
• Strong decision-making skills and the ability to work with a highly dependent resident population.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Prior healthcare transportation experience is a plus but not required.
