Job summary

Goodwill Central Coast is seeking a Driver to safely complete donation pickups, deliveries, and transportation routes across the Central Coast. The role requires a valid California Class C license, a good driving record, and the ability to read maps and follow routes.

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Salinas, CA, offering benefits and opportunities to grow within a mission-driven organization.

Qualifications

• Valid California Class C driver's license required.
• Good driving record required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of truck driving experience preferred.
• English; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Ability to safely lift, load, unload, and transport donated materials.
• Ability to read maps, follow routes and complete paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Complete scheduled donation pickups, store deliveries, and transportation routes safely and on time.
• Load, unload, secure, and transport donated goods using proper material handling techniques.
• Complete vehicle inspection reports, trip sheets, manifests, pickup logs, and related paperwork.
• Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Operate company vehicles in accordance with company policies and highway regulations.
• Communicate professionally with donors, store personnel, and donation attendants.
• Assist with truck cleaning and general transportation department operations.
• Provide guidance and work direction to driver trainees when assigned.

We are looking for a Driver who is safety-focused, dependable, and customer-service oriented to safely and efficiently complete scheduled donation pickups, deliveries, and transportation routes throughout the Central Coast. What You'll Bring

• Valid California Class C driver's license and good driving record
