Sysco is seeking a delivery support associate to help unload at customer locations, check product quality, and assist the driver during deliveries. You will rotate stock and ensure accurate handoffs under supervisor guidance.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to operate a handcart or electric pallet jack, and professional communication when addressing customer questions or issues. This position supports a fast-paced, cold-storage warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience with handcarts and pallet jacks.
• Ability to handle physical work and basic arithmetic.

Responsabilités

• Unload and check the quality of products at customer locations; rotate products as needed.
• Assist driver by driving to different locations to support deliveries.
• Call in if an order is incomplete (shorts) and help resolve issues.
• Handle customer complaints professionally.

JOB SUMMARY

Assist delivery driver unloading, checking the quality and delivering the product to the customer location.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Unload and check the quality products at a customer location, rotate and check the quality of produce.
• Driving to different locations to assist the driver with deliveries.
• Calls in when a customer does not receive their entire order (shorts)
• Handles any customer complaints professionally
• Handles company equipment properly, follow written driver safety rules and performs a pre-trip inspection.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Frequent moving of product up to 50 pounds during the shift; infrequent moving up to 80 pounds.
• Must be able to climb on and off the box of the truck.
• Frequent bending, squatting, pushing and pulling.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Cold warehouse environment. Must be able to work in confined spaces. Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions (hot weather, rain, and extremely cold temperatures)
