Job summary

Crescent Crown Distributing, LLC in New Orleans, LA, is seeking an Entry Level Delivery Associate to support the delivery driver by rotating products, collecting payments, and providing excellent customer service.

You will complete paperwork, perform pre-trip inspections, and maintain safety and interdepartmental communication. Applicants should be prepared for a fast-paced environment, be able to lift up to 50 lbs, and work extended hours as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Louisiana driver’s license and acceptable driving record preferred.
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• Energetic, able to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment both individually and in a team.
• Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ethical conduct.
• Reports to work on a regular basis.
• Extended hours may be required as service needs dictate.
• Promotes and observes safety and security procedures; uses equipment properly.
• Must be able to drive a truck to deliver product.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and push/pull up to 240 lbs occasionally.
• Able to reach, bend, stoop, walk, and climb when unloading trucks; maneuver a dolly.

To assist the delivery driver deliver and rotate product and collect required payment while providing a “best in class” customer service level and developing outstanding customer relationships in assigned market. Complete proper paperwork for each account and reconcile at end of day. Responsible for the daily pre-trip inspection of vehicle, as well as adherence to all Safety policies and procedures. Develop and maintain solid interdepartmental relationships, including effective and consistent communication. Build the business at every opportunity and continually support and embrace the Crescent Crown Vision.

• Must be able to reach with hands and arms, bend, stoop, walk and occasionally climb when unloading trucks for delivery;
• Able to maneuver a dolly effectively.
