Job summary

Mansfield Service Partners is seeking a Driver Helper to assist a Fuel & Lube Driver in providing on-site fueling and preventative maintenance for customer equipment at Converse, TX. You will fuel, grease, and inspect heavy equipment and help prepare the service truck for the next day.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, and comfort working outdoors in varying weather. Monday–Friday with occasional Saturdays; physical, outdoor work with safety-first

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.
• Experience with hand tools (pliers, wrenches) is required.
• Mechanical aptitude or experience with basic maintenance is preferred.
• Experience around heavy/construction equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Fuel & Lube Driver with on-site fueling and preventative maintenance for customer equipment.
• Fuel, grease, and lubricate heavy equipment to keep it operating safely.
• Check and top off fluids; assist with basic inspections and scheduled maintenance.
• Record equipment hours and mileage to support maintenance records.
• Prepare and stock service truck for the next day’s route; keep vehicle clean and organized.
• Follow safety requirements and wear required PPE.
• Provide professional, courteous service at customer sites.

Mansfield Service Partners is looking for a fuel and lube Driver Helper in Converse, TX (near San Antonio).

We're looking for a Helper to assist our Fuel and Lube Driver in providing on-site fueling and preventative maintenance services for heavy equipment at customer job sites. In this role, you'll help keep construction equipment fueled, greased, and ready for operation while following all safety procedures and maintaining company equipment.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside an experienced Fuel & Lube Driver to provide on-site fueling and preventative maintenance for customer equipment.
• Help fuel, grease, and lubricate heavy equipment to keep it operating safely and efficiently.
• Check and top off fluid levels, perform basic equipment inspections, and assist with scheduled preventative maintenance services.
• Record equipment hours and mileage to support accurate maintenance records.
• Prepare and maintain the service truck by restocking fuel, fluids, grease, and supplies for the next day's route.
• Keep the service truck clean, organized, and ready for daily operations.
• Follow all customer site safety requirements and company safety procedures, including proper use of required PPE.
• Provide professional, courteous service while working at customer job sites.

Schedule

• Early morning start times working into the afternoon
• Monday through Friday schedule, with occasional Saturday work as business needs require.

Requirements

Formal Education & Certification

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid Driver’s License

Knowledge & Experience

• Experience with tools, including hand tools like pliers and wrenches, required
• Mechanical aptitude or experience performing basic preventative maintenance is preferred
• Experience working around heavy equipment or construction equipment is a plus.
