Job summary

UPS is seeking a Seasonal Driver Helper to team with a UPS driver and assist with delivering packages to homes and businesses. This outdoor, physically active role involves interacting with customers and helping ensure on-time deliveries.

Shifts are seasonal, vary by day, and may include Monday through Saturday and holidays. No driving is required for the helper, who meets the driver at a pickup point near home or in the community.

Qualifications

• Able to lift, lower, and carry packages up to 70 lbs.
• Sturdy boots or slip-resistant shoes for outdoor work
• Weather-appropriate clothing for outdoor work
• Flexibility with day-to-day scheduling based on business needs
• Saturdays and holiday work may be required
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Ride Along with a Driver as a Seasonal Driver Helper

Looking for a physically active seasonal opportunity in your community? As a Driver Helper, you'll team up with a UPS package delivery driver to help deliver packages to homes and businesses. You'll spend your day outdoors, interacting with customers, and helping ensure packages are delivered safely and on time.

This is a seasonal position that requires your flexibility. Work opportunities are offered each morning based on operational needs and your availability. Schedules vary and can include Monday through Saturday, holidays, and peak delivery periods.

When assigned work, you'll meet your driver at a designated pick-up location (meet point), often near your home or within your community. Helpers do not drive the brown truck.

What You’ll Need
