Job summary

Maersk Memphis is seeking a Driver Helper to support daily delivery operations. You will assist the driver with loading, unloading, and verifying freight, and help execute routes safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities include securing freight, scanning cargo, aiding navigation, and handling material with care. The role emphasizes customer service, safety, and teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse setting.

Qualifications

• Safely operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks, when trained and authorized.
• Follow detailed work instructions in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain compliance with TSA, OSHA, company safety requirements, and customer-site rules.
• Provide professional customer service and perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Physical Requirements

This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting throughout the workday. Employees must be able to regularly lift and move products weighing up to 75 lbs. unassisted and safely operate material-handling equipment as required.

Safety Expectations

Employees are expected to comply with all company safety policies, applicable DOT requirements, OSHA standards, TSA requirements where applicable, and customer-site safety rules. Employees must immediately report accidents, injuries, unsafe conditions, equipment damage, cargo damage, and regulatory concerns.

Pay Range:

• $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
