Job Summary
The Driver Helper is responsible for assisting the driver with day-to-day delivery and operational activities. This includes loading and unloading the truck, handling and verifying freight, supporting route execution, and completing other duties needed to provide safe and efficient service.
Qualifications & Skills
Physical Requirements
This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, pushing, pulling, and lifting throughout the workday. Employees must be able to regularly lift and move products weighing up to 75 lbs. unassisted and safely operate material-handling equipment as required.
Safety Expectations
Employees are expected to comply with all company safety policies, applicable DOT requirements, OSHA standards, TSA requirements where applicable, and customer-site safety rules. Employees must immediately report accidents, injuries, unsafe conditions, equipment damage, cargo damage, and regulatory concerns.
