Maersk is seeking a Driver Helper in the United States to assist the driver with daily route loading and unloading and related duties, supporting safe and efficient deliveries. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and customer service while helping optimize delivery operations for a wide range of shipments.

Responsibilities include loading and scanning routes, helping navigate to deliveries, and carrying freight into customer locations.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Forklift experience is a plus.
• Ability to read a map and understand local area geography.

Summary

The Driver Helper is responsible for assisting the driver in all day-to-day activities. This includes but is not limited to loading and unloading the truck, along with any other duties the driver may need.

Responsibilities

• Accurately load daily route on to the truck
• Scan daily route onto the truck
• Assist driver with navigating to deliveries
• Assist driver with carrying freight into a business or residence destination
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Forklift experience a plus
• Ability to read a map and general geographic knowledge of the area
• Ability to lift up to 120 lbs. unassisted
• Must possess good customer service skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This position requires standing and walking for extended periods of time. Position requires employees to frequently stoop, kneel, crouch, use hands, reach, bend and lift objects above their head. Employees must be able to regularly lift/move up to 120 pounds and use pallet jacks and forklifts. Position requires regular use of a phone and a PC and reading and writing of various shipping documents.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $19.00 - $19.50 *The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
