Job summary

UPS Supply Chain Solutions is seeking a Seasonal Driver Helper in Kailua, Hawaii, to assist a UPS driver with deliveries to homes and businesses. You will spend your day outdoors, interact with customers, and help ensure packages are delivered safely and on time.

This seasonal role offers flexibility, with schedules varying and including Monday through Saturday, holidays, and peak periods. No prior experience is required, and opportunities to grow within UPS may arise.

Qualifications

• Able to lift, lower, and carry packages up to 70 lbs.
• Sturdy, slip-resistant boots or shoes for outdoor work.
• Weather-appropriate attire for outdoor conditions.
• Flexibility with day-to-day scheduling, including weekends and holidays.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assist the driver with delivering packages to homes and businesses.
• Spend the day outdoors and interact with customers while helping ensure timely deliveries.
• Meet the driver at a designated pick-up location and support delivery activities.
• Note: Helpers do not drive the brown UPS truck.

Ride Along with a Driver as a Seasonal Driver Helper

Looking for a physically active seasonal opportunity in your community? As a Driver Helper, you'll team up with a UPS package delivery driver to help deliver packages to homes and businesses. You'll spend your day outdoors, interacting with customers, and helping ensure packages are delivered safely and on time.

This is a seasonal position that requires your flexibility. Work opportunities are offered each morning based on operational needs and your availability. Schedules vary and can include Monday through Saturday, holidays, and peak delivery periods.

When assigned work, you'll meet your driver at a designated pick-up location (meet point), often near your home or within your community. Helpers do not drive the brown truck.

This is a seasonal position; schedules vary from day to day.

What you'll need:

• Ability to lift, lower, and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs.

• Sturdy work boots or slip-resistant shoes suitable for outdoor work

• Weather-appropriate attire for outdoor work

• Flexibility with day-to-day scheduling, based on business needs and your availability

• Saturdays and holiday work required – depending on business needs

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
