Job summary

UPS is hiring a Seasonal Driver Helper in Grand Forks, ND to assist a delivery driver by hand-delivering packages to homes and businesses. This outdoor, physical role requires lifting up to 70 lbs and working Saturdays or holidays as needed.

Shifts are posted daily based on operations; you will meet the driver at a designated pick-up point and do not drive the brown truck. Base pay is $18.40 per hour with opportunities for future UPS roles.

Qualifications

• Able to lift, lower, and carry packages up to 70 lbs.
• Weather-appropriate attire and sturdy footwear.
• Outdoor work with customer interaction and delivery support.
• Flexibility with day-to-day scheduling, including weekends and holidays.

Ride Along with a Driver as a Seasonal Driver Helper

Looking for a physically active seasonal opportunity in your community? As a Driver Helper, you'll team up with a UPS package delivery driver to help deliver packages to homes and businesses. You'll spend your day outdoors, interacting with customers, and helping ensure packages are delivered safely and on time.

This is a seasonal position that requires your flexibility. Work opportunities are offered each morning based on operational needs and your availability. Schedules vary and can include Monday through Saturday, holidays, and peak delivery periods.

When assigned work, you'll meet your driver at a designated pick-up location (meet point), often near your home or within your community. Helpers do not drive the brown truck.

What you’ll need:

• Ability to lift, lower, and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs.
• Sturdy work boots or slip-resistant shoes suitable for outdoor work
• Weather-appropriate attire for outdoor work
• Flexibility with day-to-day scheduling, based on business needs and your availability
• Saturdays and holiday work required – depending on business needs
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
