AMERICAN FURNITURE RENTAL, INC. in Secaucus, NJ is hiring a Full-Time Driver/Furniture Mover to deliver, install, and pick up furniture for residential and commercial clients.

You will operate a 26 ft box truck, follow DOT regulations, and work closely with teammates to ensure on-time, safe service. This role offers a competitive hourly rate of $22.00-$24.00, a $2,500 sign-on bonus, and a benefits package including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, paid time off, and a 401K.

Qualifications

• Driving experience with a 26 ft. box truck (required).
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug test.
• Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs., climb stairs, and stay active.
• Basic tool knowledge (cordless drill, screwdriver, etc.).
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Delivering, installing, and picking up furniture according to floorplans.
• Safely operating a 26 ft. box truck in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Protecting products during transport and keeping vehicles organized.
• Completing paperwork and pre/post trip inspections.
• Assisting with warehouse tasks, shipping, and receiving.

As a Driver/Installer, you'll play a vital role in delivering and installing furniture for our residential, commercial, event, and trade show clients.
