Packer Fastener is seeking a full-time Delivery Driver for our Kansas City team in Lenexa, KS. You will perform local deliveries using a transit van or small truck, assist with receiving products, and help with order picking to support day-to-day operations.

Ideal candidates are detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and are familiar with the local delivery territory. A valid driver’s license and the ability to obtain a DOT medical card are required.

Job Details

Kansas City Branch - Lenexa, KS 66215, Position Type: Full Time, We’re looking to add a full-time team member to our Kansas City team! This role is a first shift position that offers variety making deliveries to our local customers and gives you the opportunity to contribute to multiple areas of our day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform local deliveries using a range of company vehicles, including a transit van, truck, or flatbed
• Assist with receiving incoming product
• Help with order picking and fulfillment

Qualifications: Job Specifications

• Must be able to obtain DOT Fed Med Card and pass drug test if required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record. Must be able to obtain coverage through company's auto insurance carrier according to company Driver Safety Policy.
• Able to obtain coverage through company’s auto insurance carrier per Driver Safety Policy
• Familiarity of delivery territory
• A highly-detailed individual with a focus on accuracy
• Excellent communication skills

Physical Requirements

• Effectively handling object(s) up to 50 pounds
• Standing for long periods of time, bending, kneeling, crouching and unloading deliveries
