Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC is seeking a Full Service Driver to deliver products and stock vending machines within assigned accounts. This role requires dependable, safety-conscious driving and accurate cash handling.

You will operate 4x10 schedules, Monday through Friday, and may need to obtain PIT certification. Local routes and CDL license with clean driving record are required, with Illinois-issued CDL covering both automatic and manual transmissions.

Qualifications

Job Summary

The Full Service Driver is responsible for delivering product and filling vending machines at all points of availability within established accounts.

Job Responsibilities

• Delivers product and fills vending equipment. Restocks machine to proper level, maintaining accuracy in stock levels.
• Collects and is accountable for money. Settles all accounts daily.
• Troubleshoots and repairs equipment to keep in proper operating condition; requests service as needed.
• Maintains machine cleanliness and all appropriate signage.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory and company policies and procedures.

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of one year of work experience required.
• Local delivery experience preferred.
• Must be 21 years of age and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Class A/B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) and a clean driving record within MVR guidelines. Class E Driver’s license required (Missouri drivers/locations only). Illinois residents are required to have a CDLissued from the state of Illinois.CDL license needs to cover both automatic and manual vehicles.
• Local delivery experience preferred.
• Ability to count and secure cash required.
• Prior experience using powered pallet jackpreferred. Ability to obtain PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) certification upon hire is required.
• Mechanical and electronic troubleshooting skills.

Physical Requirements

• Speaking: Constantly with customers (investigates, negotiates, recommends, reports, etc.)
• Acute Vision: Constantly (observing both near and far, reading documents)
• Typing: Frequently using electronic devices for day-to-day business (order confirmation, instant messaging, texting)
• Mobility: Frequent travel throughout customer locations (Walking in backrooms, aisles, greeting customers)
• Bending/Squatting: Frequently (lifting and placing product from the truck to the ground or from pallets to shelf)
• Lifting: Frequent- Lift 50 lbs. or less (full cases of product)
• Pushing/pulling: Frequent use of manual carts
• Climbing: Frequent entering and exiting the cab of a truck
• Driving: Constant travel between customer locations
