Freres Engineered Wood in Lyons, Oregon is seeking a Truck Driver - Flatbed/Chips Driver to deliver company products and haul back material to the Lyons location. The role requires a Class A CDL with double/triples endorsements and a clean DMV record. Training wage starts at $28.55 per hour, with progression based on experience.

The position is full-time with a typical Monday–Friday schedule and occasional Saturday shifts. Benefits include health, dental, 401K, and more.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with double / triples endorsement.
• Two (2) years of experience driving similar equipment.
• Clean DMV driving record within the last five (5) years.
• Able to work under limited supervision.
• Self-starter / Motivated individual.

Responsibilities

• Drive semi-truck.
• Ensures safe loading, handling and transportation of a variety of cargos.
• Must have regular attendance and be on time for scheduled start of shift
• Keep accurate shipping and receiving records and maintain logs and records according to DOT/FMCSA regulations and company policy.
• Follows verbal and written dispatch and directions.
• Must show up on time for work schedule.
• Tie down loads and insure they are secure.
• Abide by all DOT road & safety requirements.
• Daily Maintenance checks on equipment.
• Maintain all logs accurately, timely and legibly.

Truck Driver Flatbed Operator reports to the Highway Truck Manager and is responsible for delivering company products and back hauls material to the company location.

Essential Functions

• Drive semi-truck.
• Ensures safe loading, handling and transportation of a variety of cargos.
• Must have regular attendance and be on time for scheduled start of shift
