Job summary

Renewal, Inc. is seeking a Messenger/Driver to manage mail and package deliveries between our buildings and affiliated programs in the Pittsburgh area. You will also escort reentrants to community appointments and handle related transportation tasks.

Responsibilities include local deliveries in Allegheny County, assisting with phone and site verifications, and occasional backup support for Off-Site Monitors. Schedule is Tue-Sat, 1:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Pennsylvania Driver's License; ability to work independently and with staff.
• Excellent oral communication and some written communication required.

• Escort reentrants to community appointments and provide transportation as needed.
• Transport and complete deliveries in Allegheny County and surrounding counties; support phone/site verifications.

Definition

This position is responsible for all mail and package delivery between Renewal, Inc. buildings and affiliated programs. Deliveries also include picking up reentrant budgets. The Messenger/Driver will escort reentrants to community appointments and other duties as directed. The Messenger/Driver will be the primary transportation for Getpaid, Inc. This person transports and completes deliveries in the surrounding counties as well as Allegheny County. This person is responsible to assist in completing phone and site verifications. Be the back up to the Off-Site Monitors when needed. This individual will work a Tuesday through Saturday schedule from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. to provide additional after-hours transportation support.
