Job summary

TransPak is seeking a dependable Delivery Driver in Round Rock, TX. You will safely transport products to customer sites, handle loading and unloading, and perform pre- and post-trip inspections.

Local deliveries only, with emphasis on safety, on-time delivery, and accurate documentation. Qualifications include a minimum 23 years old, 2 years driving experience, a valid state license, clean driving record, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and pass a pre-employment drug screen.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years verifiable driving experience.
• Ability to safely drive trucks with a valid state Driver’s License.
• Clean driving record with no more than 2 driving violations in the last 3 years.
• Ability to push/pull up to 75 pounds with pallet jack or lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Forklift certification preferred.
• Bilingual (English-Spanish) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely transporting products to customer sites in Bobtail or flat-bed trucks.
• Local deliveries and pick-ups only.
• Load and unload trucks using forklifts and/or pallet jacks.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections; report vehicle issues immediately.
• Address safety concerns and follow standard operating procedures.

Position Summary

The job duties listed below describe the general nature of the work; some incumbent’s duties may differ.

Essential Functions

Transporting Products

• Safely transporting products to customer sites in Bobtail or flat‑bed trucks. Most sites are warehouses or factories and will utilize loading docks for loading and unloading, but may be in other areas near customer site.
• Driving in congested traffic in both urban and rural areas.
• Obtaining signatures on delivery orders and giving the signed delivery orders to dispatch or manager.
• Local deliveries and pick‑ups only.

Loading and Unloading

• Load and unload trucks and trailers in a strategic and efficient way by use of forklifts and/or pallet jacks.

Pre and Post Trip

• Perform pre‑trip truck inspections.
• Ensure safety by reporting all vehicle issues or accidents immediately.
• Responsible for clean truck presentation.

Safe & Efficient Facility Team Member

• Address and report all equipment defects or maintenance needs to maintain safe and efficient use. Follow all procedures, policies and know the equipment before using it.
• Speak up when observing something that may be unsafe or someone performing unsafe acts.
• Efficiently perform work according to standard operating procedures.
• Work together with other team members to accomplish tasks safely in a fast‑paced production environment.

Marginal Functions

• Assisting with vehicle maintenance as directed.

Education/Knowledge/Skill Requirements

• A minimum drivers age requirement of 23 years old.
• At least 2 years verifiable driving experience.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to safely drive trucks with valid residency state Driver’s License.
• Clean driving record with no more than 2 driving violations in the last three years. Driving record is monitored by Motor Vehicle Record tracking software. MVR should not include DUI’s or other serious violations.
• Ability to push and pull up to 75 pounds using pallet jack, or lift up to 50 pounds.
• Able to pass a pre‑employment drug screen.
• Forklift Certification preferred.
• Bilingual (English‑Spanish) preferred.
• The person must have a visual acuity level of 20/70 or better when looking through both eyes (or one eye if the person has usable vision in only one eye). A person with usable vision in both eyes will meet the standard if the visual acuity level in one eye is worse than 20/70 so long as the visual acuity level in the other eye is 20/70 or better; (b) Field of vision: The person must have a field of vision of at least 110 degrees;
