Job summary

BayCare Health System seeks a full-time Transportation Driver to safely pick up and deliver laboratory specimens, reports, supplies, and other materials across the BayCare network. You will operate a company vehicle, maintain accurate delivery records, and coordinate with dispatch to support departmental operations and patient safety.

This night-shift position runs 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM in Tampa, FL; weekend work is occasional and on-call is No.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid Florida driver's license with clean driving record.
• Minimum of 1 year of professional driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely pick up and deliver lab specimens, reports, supplies, and related materials across the BayCare service area.
• Operate a company vehicle following policies and maintain accurate delivery records.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and support departmental operations to ensure patient safety and service quality.

Ensures all tasks are completed in a manner that upholds patient safety, service quality, and BayCare standards.
