Responsibilities

• Assist yard personnel in pulling and staging orders, loading trucks and receiving materials.
• Operate yard equipment, including forklifts, safely and efficiently.
• Expedite loading and unloading of customer and company vehicles.
• Receive and follow delivery instructions, including maps and materials in the correct order.
• Ensure timely and safe delivery to customers and jobsites.
• Complete pre-jobsite assessments before unloading at jobsites.
• Deliver materials to jobsites and customers safely and efficiently per guidelines.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Candidates will be responsible for delivering building materials using a company vehicle and requires the candidate have ability to do heavy lifting. Essential qualifications include the following:

• Assists yard personnel in pulling and staging of inter-company orders, loading of trucks, and the receiving of materials.
• Operates yard equipment, including forklifts, safely and efficiently.
• Expedites the loading and unloading of customer and company vehicles.
• Receives and carries out customer order instructions, including maps and materials, according to the delivery sequence.
• Ensures timely and efficient delivery to customers and jobsites.
• Completes pre-jobsite assessment prior to unloading company truck at jobsites.
• Delivers material to jobsites and customers in a safe and efficient manner according to safety guidelines established.

Job Requirements

• Must have valid CDL driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Valid CDL permit with a clean driving record and interested in company sponsored training.
