RJ Schinner Co., Inc. is seeking a professional CDL-A driver to join our Greensboro, NC operations. You will inspect, load, and deliver goods, maintain logs, and ensure accurate shipments. The role emphasizes safety, customer service, and reliable routes, with opportunities for overtime and benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL Operator’s License.
• At least 3 years of driving experience.
• Meet DOT requirements, including pre-employment and random drug testing.
• Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check.
• Current Federal Medical Card.
• Understand road hazards and follow safety practices.
• Experience delivering goods to customers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect truck before and after trips and file daily DVIRs to keep the vehicle safe.
• Verify deliveries with customers; ensure quantities match ship tickets.
• Handle touch-freight deliveries with a pallet jack for designated accounts.
• Collect payments for goods delivered per ship-ticket instructions.
• Maintain accurate driver logs in compliance with regulations.
• Operate vehicle safely following DOT and company policies.
• Keep the vehicle clean and in good condition to represent the company.
• Maintain valid CDL and a clean driving record per standards.
• Uphold company policies and support a positive team culture.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday | Early-Morning Start Times | 1-2 overnight routes per week may be required due to length of route

What We’re Looking For In A Driver

• You have a valid Class A CDL Operator’s License
• You bring at least 3 years of driving experience
• You can meet DOT requirements, including pre-employment and random drug testing
• You have a clean driving record and can pass a background check
• You have a current valid Federal Medical Card
• You understand the common hazards on the road and follow best safety practices
• You have previous experience making deliveries
• You’re a natural problem solver
• You take pride in providing excellent customer experiences

What You’ll Do Everyday

• Inspect your truck before and after trips and complete daily vehicle inspection reports (DVIR’s) to keep everything safe and ready for the road
• Work with our customers to verify deliveries are correct, ensuring quantities and products match ship tickets
• Handle touch-freight deliveries using a manual pallet jack for designated accounts
• Collect payments for goods delivered, following the instructions provided on ship tickets
• Keep accurate driver logs in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
• Always safely operate vehicle, following DOT guidelines, company safety manuals, and policies
• Maintain a clean, well-kept vehicle that represents the company proudly
• Keep your CDL current and driving record clean per DOT and company standards
• Uphold company policies and contribute to a positive, professional team culture
