Job summary

Pacific Supply is a long-standing building products distributor in Santa Rosa, CA, seeking Class A or B drivers to deliver materials with a company vehicle. Heavy lifting may be required, with emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Essential duties include loading/unloading, operating yard equipment such as forklifts, and ensuring timely deliveries to jobsites while following company policies. A valid CDL with a clean record and potential company-sponsored training are required.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL driver's license and clean driving record.
• Valid CDL permit with a clean driving record and interested in company sponsored training.
• Career goals of becoming a CDL driver, valid driver’s license and ability to complete company sponsored training program while working as a material handler.

Responsibilities

• Assists yard personnel in pulling and staging of inter-company orders, loading of trucks, and the receiving of materials.
• Operates yard equipment, including forklifts, safely and efficiently.
• Expedites the loading and unloading of customer and company vehicles.
• Receives and carries out customer order instructions, including maps and materials, according to the delivery sequence.
• Ensures timely and efficient delivery to customers and jobsites.
• Completes pre-jobsite assessment prior to unloading company truck at jobsites.

Job Description

Candidates will be responsible for delivering building materials using a company vehicle and requires the candidate have ability to do heavy lifting. Essential qualifications include the following:
