Job summary

Pacific Supply in California is seeking Class A or B drivers to deliver building materials from our yard to jobsites and customers. You will operate a company vehicle, load and unload materials, and follow safety guidelines to ensure timely deliveries.

Applicants must have a valid CDL license and a clean driving record, with the ability to perform heavy lifting. Company-sponsored training toward CDL certification is available.

Responsibilities

• Assists yard personnel in pulling and staging of orders, loading of trucks, and receiving materials.

• Receives and carries out customer order instructions, including maps and materials, according to the delivery sequence.
• Ensures timely and efficient delivery to customers and jobsites.
• Completes pre-jobsite assessment prior to unloading company truck at jobsites.
• Delivers material to jobsites and customers in a safe and efficient manner according to safety guidelines established.

Job Description

Candidates will be responsible for delivering building materials using a company vehicle and requires the candidate have ability to do heavy lifting. Essential qualifications include the following:

• Assists yard personnel in pulling and staging of inter-company orders, loading of trucks, and the receiving of materials.
• Operates yard equipment, including forklifts, safely and efficiently.

Job Requirements

• Must have valid CDL driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Valid CDL permit with a clean driving record and interested in company sponsored training.
• Career goals of becoming a CDL driver, valid driver’s license and ability to complete company sponsored training program while working as a material handler.
